PALMERSTON N., This Day,

The Hospital Board was advised today by the Public Trustee that it is the residuary legatee in the estate of the late Mr.-James Kirby, formerly a Palmerston North resident, who died in Wellington in March. The assets in the estate, which is the subject of the widow's life interest, exceed £5000. Tho other bequests include £1000 to the Jubilee Institute for tho blind, Auckland, £1000 to the Baptist Church orphanage at Manurewa, and £500 each to tho Methodist orphanages at Christ.church and Auckland. The amount coming to the Hospital Board is estimated at between £2500 and £3000.
