ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

GAMES TOE TQ-MOERQW.

The Basin Beservo will be open for football to-morrow, and as two grounds aro available the Management Committee has arranged a splendid afternoon's sport. Two first division championship matches will be played at 3 o'clock. WM.C.A. will meet Institute and a great game should result. The former team is the only one in the first division with a clean aheet, and have this early in the season reached a high standard of play. They have' been strengthened by the inclusion of Boberts, who represented South Auckland last season, and the evergreen Charlie Ballard. The Institute team is composed of young and dashing players, who are improving with every game, and this match is bound to be closely contested. The other senior_game will be Thistle v. Waterside, and "this match should prove equally interesting. Thistle in their game Last Saturday showed much improved form, and with the-in-clusion of Daniels,. late of Diamonds, caii. be depended upon to give a clever and attractive exposition. Their opponents, ■ Waterside, have this year got together a team which promises to rival the representatives of the club in- its palmy clays. At Association Park another good programme is offered. Chief interest will centre in the game between Marist and Brooklyn and on No. 1 ground Welgasco will try conclusions with V.M.C.A. in the Senior B Division.
