Deer are very plentiful in the Rainbow district, states a Press Association message from Nelson. During eight days' shooting) extending over Easter, Messrs. H. D. and D. Haiman, t Brightwater, shot 222 head. Included in this number were five nine-point-ers. The biggest bag in one day was 32. On one occasion 12 deer were seen in one bunch, and the whole doiea .were brought down.
