CHBISTCHUKCH, 9th April,

A single man, d. Thomas, whose adf'resa is given as Hawkins, was riding his motor-cycle along the Riecarton nad this morning when he collided with a motor-lorry carrying meat from the abattoirs. Thomas was conveyed to. the Christchurch Hospital, and it was found that his right leg was broken in two places. The motor-cycle was badly damaged.
