UNIVERSITY DEBATE
MORALITY OF LAWYERS,
Next Saturday evening a public debate is to be held at Victoria University College on the subject, "That the Practice of Law has a Demoralising Effect on the Practitioner." In favour of the motion Mr. W. 11. Sheat, 8.A., 1ih.8., of Ilaweia, will support Mr. B. M. Campbell; and for the negative Mr. A. E. Hurley v, 'I be seconded by Mr. W. E. Leicester, LL.B. Tho debate is to be held in the gymnasium building at the college, beginning at 8 p.m., and the public are invited to attend.
