MAN'S BODY FOUND IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR

AUCKLAND, 12th February. A body found; floating in the harbour has been identified as that of Michael Middleton, an employee of Auckland Harbour Board, who disappeared from a dinghy on 31st January. A fellow-employee said the deceased told him that if cancer of the tongue, for which he had boen operated upon, came on again ho .would take a dinghy and a bottle of whisky and go overboard. About a week before the disappearance he complained that his tongue was getting sore again.
