FROZEN MEAT MABKET.
Messrs. Levin and Co., ltd., have received the following cable from London, dated 22nd January: "The market is depressed, JJje demand being very poor, with a weakening tendency all round. General prospects are unfavourable."
New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 22nd instant: '"New Zealand frozen meat: Lamb and mutton quotations unchanged. Market quiet. Last quotation, 13! li January: Lamb, lOd per lb (average); mutton, wether and maiden ewe, light 7d per 11), heavy « 5-83 pof ib; ewe, light 5 l-8d per lb, heavy 4%d lier lb."
