BYLAW BREACHES.

FINES IMPOSED.

Breaches of the bylaws were dealt with by Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon.

Edeli Semi, for driving a horse on a bitumen track, was ordered to pay costs, 11s.

Cutting a corner cost William Benjamin Taylor 10s. For a similar offence Norman Henry Eraser was fined £1 10s.

GeoTge Selby was fined 10s for failing to stop his vehiclo when requested to do so by a constable.

Failure to light their vehicles properly resulted in the following motorists being fined tho amounts stated: William Higgina, Thomas Gray, Warren Benjamin Franklin, Leslie Goldfinch, Clifford Harry Oxley, 15s each; Charles Edward M'Pherson Robertson, Stanley Taylor, Rupert Nelson Kellow, Valentine Arthur Gini, 10s each; Carroh Jefferson Tidwell, George Geary, 5s each; Albert Joseph Everett, ordered to pay costs, "s. Fines were imposed on the following for leaving their cars unattended:—James David Martin M'lntyre, Leonard Dan Patterson, Walter Lionel Clabburn, John Henry Phillips, Wong She Kee, 10s each; Reginald George Booth, Billee Blake, John Phillips, and Gladys Lemprierc, 5s each. For speeding tho following wera fined; James Joseph Jackson, Henry Lawrence Glover, Ernest James Joffriea, Phyllis Skey, £3 each; Albert gaddiley, Arthur Hibbert, £2 each; Aubrey Mellville Stanley, £1. On charges of leaving their motorcars more than a foot from a kerb. Albert Edward Roberts and Thomas Eastwood Jackson were fined 10s each. Thomas William Cole was fined £3 for passing a stationary tram. Thomas Henry Bragg was fined £ 1 for not having a motor driver's license, and on a similar charge Thomas William Cole was ordered to pay costs, 7s. Thomas Lamb Oraigie was fined £1 for failing to notify change of ownership of a motor-car. For using a lorry withont rear number attached, Wong She Kee was fined 10s.
