AND RUMANIAN THRONE
REASON FOR RENUNCIATION
A THIRD LADY IN THE CASE.
(CMTID PRUS ASSOCIATION—COPIRIOHT.) (AVSriUI.UN.NIW ZIAIAHI) CABLI ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 3rd January.
In regard to Prince Carol of Rumania, whose renunciation of hit succession to the Throne of that country, caused a sensation on its announcement, the Paris correspondent of the "Daily Express" reveals that there is no question of Prince Carol's remarrying Zizi Lambrino, his former morganatic wife, who is living in Paris, happily married to a Rumanian officer. Prince Carol has frequently shown signs, since the royal mamag* with Princess Helene of Greece, of a desire to break with the traditions of his house. There is every indication that he intend* marrying Princess Lupescu, who is a Rumanian. Both are at present staying at a hotel in Milan.
The "Morning Post's" Borne correspondent confirms this possibility, adding that on the day of the Prince's arrival at Milan there also came Princess Lupescu, although the relations of the little Court towards her were nothing more than what is usually accorded to distinguished fellow country folk abroad. ■'
