ROAD DANGERS

TO TBC EDITOR.

Si,/ The increasing traffic over the Haywards - Judgeford - Pahautnnui road should make those responsible for its condition at.the Haywards end do something to remove the many dangers that threaten thoso who use it. I motored over it a few days ago, and twice I met oncoming cars in places where it was impossible for two cars to pass, and I had to back for considerable distances in very risky and twisty places at considerable strain on the nerves of those who were in the car with me. There are places on this road where only a few inches separate the users of the road from a fearful calamity, and it is a wonder to me how the County Council can supinely permit this dangerous condition to continue when the expenditure of only a moderate sum of moneY would make it a comfortable and easy road for motor traffic. If yqu will kindly print this letter it may do something to draw the attention of the council to what, I think, is Us obvioua duty.-I am, Me., MOMWBT
