KING'S THEATRE.
An unusual picture entitled "Any Woman" is the feature at the King's Theatre this week. The main role is taken by Alice Terry, who, as Ellen Linden, finds on her return frpm college that her father is, broken in health and a financial failure. She sets about the idea of working for a living with no qualifications in particular apart from het. beauty, if-that could be classified as such. She applies for one job which she succeeds in getting because the partners of the business both like her. Both make love to her, but as they are married, their -wives have something to say in the matter, and Ellen finds true love in that of Tom Galloway, a young man keen on Ellen and in boosting a new soft drink of his own manufacture. The picture raises an interesting question; is beauty a handicap or a help to a working girl? Miss Terry is supported by a big cast, including Henry • Kolker, Lawson Butt, James Neil, and Margaret Fischer. There are good supports. The orchestral numbers include i the overture, "The Black Rose"' (Brockton) and the entr'acte, "Parade of the Tin Soldiers" (Jesse!)'.' . / . ■ . '
