MR. R. M'KEEN.
. Mr. R. M'Keen expressed his deepest gratitude to the' olectors of Wellington South for the renewed confidence which they had expressed in the policy of the Labour Party. He understood that his majority up to the time of his speaking was about 1500, which was a- magnificent majority. He expressed regret at the defeat of Mr, Monteith, and paid a tribute to him for the conscientious manner in which'he ha 4 carried out his duties as a Parliamentary representative. Mr. M'Keun concluded by saying that the Labour Party was, a growing one, and in a few years that party would occupy the Treasury benches. .
