SISTINE SOLOISTS.
The Sistine ; Choir Soloists arrived from the South this morning, having completed a remarkably .successful scries of nearly one hundred concerts in the Dominion. To-night in tho Town Hall the soloists will give, tho first of two farewell concerts in Wellington. The final concert will be 011 Saturday evening. The company.will then revisit practically all the Noith Island towns, giving one farewell concert an each. To-night's programme will include a selection of sacred numbers, choruses, duets, and solos. Among these will be the motets: "Adoramus Te," by the great Giovanni I-'icrluigi da Palestrina: "Tcnobrae I'actae Sunt," from the Holy "Week office of Josef Haydn; Mendelssohn's "Beati Mortui," and "C 01; Jcsu Flagrans," by the soloists' versatile conductor, Maestro Casolari. Among the operatic items will be the Prayer Chorus from "Moses in •Egypt]" and a trio from Auber's ■'JTra Diavolo." Signor Paganelii's solo numbers will include tho Dream Soiig from Massenet's "Manon.-" Signor Facchini will sing the aria "0 Paradiso," from "l'Afrioana," and will be associated with Signor Belli in ."Fauro's duet ';Crucifmis." The stirring "Song of . the Toreador," from "Carmen," will be sung by Signor Burani and chorus. The box plans are at The Bristol, and day sales at Ned Perry's, tobacconist, Manners street.
