There are' several stage successes which, can always stand, revival, an outstanding instance being • "Charley's Aur-t." This comedy holds a unique record, i'or it is the only ouc of. its class which, stands an. annual revival in Londqn. It is now being revived by Mr. Warren Ward, an English actor of note, who lias been but a short timo in this country. During his 1 Auckland season ho created a local record by presenting "'Charley's Aunt"- for cloven consecutive performances. The play, as is well known, lends itself well for j farcical purposes, and .the company appearing at the Grand Opera House/ noxt Tuesday is. said to give a rare ■ presentation of the old favourite. Theatre-goers will doubtless welcome tho opportunity of renewing the acquaintance of tho lady from Brazil, "where tho nuts come from." Thy plan will open to-morrow morning at The Bristol.
