MR. M'GRATH AT SYDNEY • STREET

About 400 people were.present, at Sydney Street Schoolroom last night to hear the final address by Mr. J. J. M'Grath, Independent National candidate for Wellington North. The Hon. R. M'Kenzie presided, and the candidate was accorded an attentive hearing. Me spoke on the lines of previous addresses, dealing with the wheat question, taxation, -housing, Civil Service control and he criticised the policy of extreme Labour saying that this country would not stand for disloyalty and confiscation of property. At the conclusion of his address, Mr. M'Grath was accorded an overwhelming vote of thanks and confidence.
