MR. M'GRATH'S CAMPAIGN

The Methodist Schoolroom, Molesworth street, was crowded last night, when Mr. J. J. M'Grath delivered an address. The candidate dealt at length with the question of dear bread, the housing problem,. the Rent Restriction Act, and .reform of Legislative Council and of the election law, and with the recommendations of the Tax Commission, particularly in respect of tax being imposed on incomes derived from land. Mr. M'Grath ■ received an attentive hearing, and after answering a number .of questions was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.
