The monthly meeting of the Carterton Library Committee was hold on Thursday evening, Mr. A. Anderson presiding. The treasurer reported a credit balance of &I'l Os 7d, and accounts totalling it'll ]fis :id were passed for payment. Ten out of li"> new books ordered came to hand during tho month. One new subscriber joined. The committee thanked the following for the donation, of books-: Messrs. K. Roydhouse (-0), Horace Bain (G), and Wise )2).
