The professional boxing contest between Los Murray (9st 101b) and Beg. Trowcrn (9st 101b) went the full fifteen rounds, providing a clean and even bout. Trowcrn used his left very effectively, while Murray was rather superior at in-fighting. The decision was a draw.
In the preliminaries Kiely beat Purton, and Cotter_ beat Morresy.
