CONDITIONAL DISCHARGE OFFERED. . „

A further application, for ■ discharge from bankruptcy was made in the Supreme Court, before his Honour Mr. Justice Ostler, this morning, in the case ot Gcorgß Alexander Vance Shannon, for whom Mr. A. Young appeared.. The only opposing creditor was Mattio Natal Sarcich, to whom some years ago . tlie Divorce Couifc awarded £1500 .damages in a suit against Shannon.. Mr. P.. S. K. Macassey appeared for the creditor. Sarcich st»t:d that in tho event of. £500 being deposited to the credit of his children, he would no longer oppose the bankrupt's discharge: • ' His Honour Mr. Justice Ostler said that his view was that Shannon should be granted his discharge conditionally upon his consenting to, judgment being entered against him for £300. . Mr. Young said that he was not authorised to agree to that condition. - His Honour :."I£ he does not consent, then I refuse the discharge. ' That is all I can do."
