LIFEBOAT FALLS CUT ON BALRANALD

ADELAIDE, This Day.
It .was discovered that the falls had been cut of several of the lifeboats of the Peninsular liner Balranald while laying in the outer harbour, the crew of which vessel are on strike. The master, in offering rewards for the apprehension of the culprit, characterises the net aa particularly cowardly and one endangering the lives of some seven hundred passengers, including 150 children. A number of seamen, after expressing their indignation, turned to voluntarily nnd restored the falls to perfect condition
