PORT NICHOLSON BAND.

The interest attaching to the concert to bo given on Sunday evening in the Grand Opera House by the Port Nicholson Band is a happy augury. The bandl has appealed many times before the Wellington public, and has secured a large following by reason of the excellence of its performances. In addition to attractive band numbers the management has been successful in securing the services of some talented artists, including Miss Eileen Kimbell, a soprano new to the band's audiences, who has been very successful ffl tha competitions now being held in Wellington, and also Mr. Frank A. Dennie, an artist who has had the honour of appearing before the King at a command performance at Buckingham Pajace. He will be heard in a negro spiritual, "Please Don't Let Dis Harvis Pass." Mr. Hartley Montgomery, another artist . of outstanding merit who has been on the Fuller Circuit lor six years, and has just finished a successful tour of Australia and the Dominion will sing "Beneath Thy Window." A welcome re-appearance will be little Zelma "Carroll, the wonderful child artist, who needs no introduction to Wellington audiences. Also on the bill is the popular baritone, Mr. Charles Moore, who will sing "The Showman." Mr. Frank Cipwther will be at the piano.
