BOUGHT BY MISCHA ELMAN. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPIRIOBT.) (ACSTRALUN-.NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received 28th August, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 27th August. The i' Morning Post's " Paris correspondent states that Mischa Elman has brought a Stradivarius violin, formerly owned by Madame Recaniior. It is reported to be the finest in the world, and the price paid is said to be 1,000,000 francs.
