LE FORTE DESTROYED
SYDNEY, 9th August.
The visit of the hurdler Le Forte to Sydney ended fatally. He fell when negotiating an obstacle in the Moorfield Hurdles on Saturday, broke Jiis neck, and had to be destroyed. The jocksy (Harris) was not injured.
