BOARDING-HOUSE DESTROYED

(BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

DARGAVILLE, This Day. Ruawai Boarding-house, a building of 12 rooms, together with, the furniture, contents, and outbuildings, was totally destroyed by fire at midnight last night, nothing being saved. The inmates escaped in their night' attire. Adjoining premises of A. D. Admore had a narrow escape, but good work by the bucket brigade was successful in savingHhem. The destroyed building was of wood and an old land mark. The insurance oa .the building and outbuildings is £2000 in the South British Office and on the furniture £500.
