LONG-DRAWN LITIGATION

(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRKIHT.) SYDNEY, 3rd August. The long litigation between the Limerick Steamship Company and the Commonwealth Government regarding the commandeering of.the company's steamers during the war, has ended. An appeal was filed by the company in the High Court against the last order of the High Court rescinding the order of the Supreme Court, which granted the company leave to appeal to the Privy Council. When the matter was mentioned in the High Court to-day, by consent the appeal was struck out, with costs.
