Parker (Gloucestershire), 158 wickets at an average cost of 13.37 runs; M. W. Tate (Sussex), 160 wickets. 13.75; G. G. Macaulay (Yorkshire), 143 wickets, 14.61; R. Tyldesley (Lancashire), 118 wickets, 14.73; J.C. White. (Somerget), 91 wicketß, 15,03; and Roy Kilner (Yorkshire), 88 wickets, 16.03. E. 'A. Macdonald (Lancashire) is fifteenth with 139 wickets to his credit, and an average of 19.21. -
