NEW YORK, 2nd August. No announcement has yet been made following the meeting of the Executive Committee of the United States Lawn Tennis Association on Saturday night, when W. T. Tilden appeared to givo evidence on a charge of alleged violation of the player-wrjter rule. The champion's eligibility to take gart in the Davis Cup trials depends upon the decision.
