KING'S THEATRE.
The unique, and sensational experiences of a young girl who is. given only a short time to live are portrayed in the film, entitled "One Year to Live," which is the main attraction at the King's Theatre this week. The story is laid in Paris and concerns a beautiful dancer, her maid, and the latter's invalid sister. I'd provide her sister with the necessary comforts of life; Elise secures the position of maid to Lolette, and while employed at the theatre, where admirers flock around the Parisian favourite, meets a youtig American soldier, a former favourite of Lolette. The friendship between Elise and Kendrick, her American visitor, ripens, and Lolette is ultimately supplanted by her. maid in the American's favour. Kenjfrick is disillusioned, however, and is dismissed by Eliso, but a reconciliation eventuates. Tho programme includes a gazette, scenic, comedy, and shows the Derby of 1925. The King's Orchestra supplies appropriate music.
