ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION,
The annual meeting of the St._ John Ambulance Association was held in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall. Jast evening. His Excellency the Governor-Gen-eral, Sir Charles Fergusson, who presided, was accompanied by Lady Alice Fergusscn, and amongst those on the platform were Bishop and Mrs. Sprott, the Mayor (Mi-. G;J. B. Norwood), and Mrs. Norwood. The addresses delivered by His Excellency and Bishop Sprott are reported under another heading. A precis of the annual report was published in "The Post" last evening. Mr. W. Duncan, Wellington Football Association, speaking on behalf of the ! sports bodies, acknowledged' the good work done by the Ambulance Brigade on the playing "fields in the district. The following awards were made:— Inyestiture as Honorary Associate of the Order of St. John, Dr. H. E. Gibbs. Bar to Medals: Ex-Superintendent Mrs. K. Preston. Service Medals: Nursing Officer Sister I W. H. Andrew, District Surgeon Dr. H. lE. Gibbs, Senior Medical Officer Dr. i C. D. Henry, District Superintendent. Mr. J. Hislop, Divisional Superintendent, Mr. W. W. Dutton. Medallions: Misses Iris Dorset, Winifred Sims, Maud Kydd, Minnie Haldane, Maisie Wilson, Eita Fletcher, Amy Coli'quhoun, Elfra, E. Baily, Anno Bates. | Florence A. Lucock, Alice L. Fitchett. Rose Natzlorj Messrs. Archibald M'Pherson, William H. Shardlow, George Wright, Ifoyal C.
