SHIPS BEING LAID UP

SIX NOW OUT OF ACTION.

SYDNEY, 25th June.'' The Commonwealth Shipping Board has decided to lay up the three steamers which have been seeking crews', the Fordsdale, Eromanga, and Dilga, and not to try to engage men for these vessels. There is the possibility now that all the ships of the line will be. tied up as soon as their articles expire. The dispute so far has thrown six vessels idle. The' others are the Howard Smith steamer Time, in Sydney; the Monaro, at Melbourne; and the lighthouse vessel Kyogle, at Fremantle.
