KING'S THEATRE.
"Argentine Love," which is the main attraction at the King's Theatre this week, is a delightful romance of the Argentine with flashes of passionate hate and sublime love. The production is directed by Allan JDwan, and the story is from the pen of Vicente Blasco Ibanez, tho noted writer! of "The Four Horsemen of -the '' Apocalypse," and ! "Blood and Sand."fe It-tells the story ] ,of the romance of. ;two men, 'a Spaniard and an American engineer, who fight for the love of a girl.. Because'she is held -responsible ;for:. the murder" of a man, who is hardly known to her, the inhabitants of the village decide to tie her to a cart and flog her out of their ] midst—an old custom, when a woman has j been the .cause of a quarrel in which one has lost his life. This is the predica- I ment in which Bebe Daniells, who takes I [ the leading part; finds herself. No i | pains were spared in making the pic- j ture._ . The .leading - part, in, the male role-is taken by Eicardo Cortez. who is I supported by a strong cast. Included on the programme is a Gazette, scenes of kangaroo hunting'in Australia, and a first-class' comedy entitled "Bright Lights.
