LEAGUE FOOTBALL

The Wellington Eugby League met on Monday, those present being Messrs II Aird (in the chair), Mudge. Stephens Simpson, Withey, Mayo, Dusky, Coulter Wrack, and A. Buckland (secretary). Tho resignation of Mr. Price from the chair owing to pressuro of business was received, and a motion of thanks' was passed for the work he had done for the game in Wellington. The secretary was instructed to write to the Director of City Reserves regarding the preparation and flagging of the Emerson street playing area. It was decided that a deputation wait on the City Council regarding the use of the Basin Reserve.
