BERHAMPORE.
Mr. E. W. Burd presided at the meeting of householders at Berhampore. The annual report and balance-sheet, extracts from which have already been published, were adopted. Dr. E. Morgan addressed the meeting on the aims of the Junior Red Cross movement, and was accordod a vote of thanks.
The chairman was presented with a silver cigar case and holder in recognition of his services to the district as chairman and secretary. The committee was elected as follows:—Messrs. R. T. Bailey (chairman), S. J. Standen, H. J. Maisey (secretary), M. F. Gladmg, H. E. Brooker, C. S. Wilson, W. Husband, W. Whiteley, and W. J. Chatfield. Delegates to School Committees' Association, Messrs. Glading and Chatfield.
