BYLAW BREACHES

Infringements of tho bylaws weredealt with by Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon. Failure to. have vehicles properly lighted resulted in the following fines being imposed : Henry Richard Welbourne, ss; Clarence Arthur Willis, David William Fox, Leslie Arnold Lambourne, James Joseph Jackson, Timothy Patrick Cleary, 10s each. Robert Christian, Henry Aitcheson Bown, and Reginald Keenan were each ordered to pay costs, 7s. Tho following were fined for riding bicycles on the bitumen track of the Hutt road : William Sergent, William Henry Brasch, Douglas Campbell. Croyx Dest de Grut, Gilbert Hayward! Leonard Charles Whale, Ss each: James Cowan, William Cowan, Robert Thompson, 10s each. Cutting corners cost Arthur Leonard Hoyley £1 ™d Louis M'Farlane £1 10s. William James Conin was ordered to pay costs on the charge of driving in the prohibited part of Courtenay place. For exceeding the speed limit, the following fines were imposed : Gordon Sanders.' Louis William Garrard, 10s each; Charles Edward Robertson, William Mac Donald, £3 each; Frederick Guy La-wson, £5; Lionel Boielle. £2; Desmond Bush, £1; William James Hodge, £1 10s. For failing to drive to the left, William M'Donald was fined £1. For leaving motor-cars unattended tho following lines were imposed : Carrol Bernard O'Donnell, 15s ;• William J. Mitcheiison, Ss. Victor Norris was fined £5 for. dangerous driving. Failure to have a. driver's certificate of competency cost Frederick Guy LawI son 10s. -
