PALMERSTON N., This Oay. The provincial championships were continued in perfect weather to-day. In the .final of the men's doubles Lowry arid Andrews won the title from the New Zealand champions, Fotheringham and Smyth. Lowry played with outstanding brilliance. '\ The final of/ the ladies' doubles was won by Misses Lloyd and Macfarlane irom Misses Clegg and East, of Wellington. '

The combined doubles are not so advanced. The finalists in the Wellington Plate, and ladies' singles are Misses D and 0., Haggitt, of Palmerston. The men s singles are not yet out to the semi-finals. ■ . .■ , / , ■ .
