LEVEL CROSSING FATALITY

WHANGAREI, 16th Dec.
This afternoon a special train conveying St. Leon's circus northwards crashed into a dray in charge of Jack Broomfield, aged 19 years, at a level crossing near Hukorenui. Broomfield was killed instantly, the body being fearfully mutilated.
