LONDON, 23rd October. The "Daily Express" takes a new line of its own. »It says the Conservative headquarters do not realise completely what is going on •in the constituencies. Whilst the "big guns" are talking about the lawyers' quarrel over the Campbell case, or the Russian Treaty, Socialist speakers are promising cheaper food, more doles, less work, and higher -wages. If the heads of the Conservative Party will not give a lead on a constructive policy of Conservative social reform, their followers are practically helpless.
