Owing to steady rain, which fell throughout-th- night and to-day, the Canterbury Cricket Association was once more compelled to postpone the opening of iLs season. This .is the third consecutive Saturday that cricketers, bowlers, and tennis players have had to foreao I>hiy un aucoaiit of nijn.
