MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. E. Page, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court to-diiy. James Clark, alias Peter O'Malley, with six previous convictions for drunkenness, was fined £3, in default fourteen days' imprisonment. Horace Francis .Williams, a harrdresser, 25 years of age, who pleaded guilty to the theft of £6 17s lid from Albert Bell, was admitted to probation for cix months. The accused was represented by Mr. W. E. Leicester. .
Clifford Edward Morris Odlin, who is charged with wounding Leila Tteichel with intent to do grievous bodily harm, was remanded to Bth October. Gtiief Detective Kemp said the case would be gone on with, on that date. For ill-treating a horse by working it in an unfit condition, two Chinamen, Ken and Young Pat, were fined £4 .and £1 rejjwsctiyfllj,
