GRAND OPERA HOUSE.

In these days of best-sellers, it is refreshing to have one's mind taken back to the days of Dickens, that master of the pen, whose success in making his characters live stands alone in the history of English literature. For that reason, Bransby Williams, who is drawing crowded houses to the Grand Opera House with his delineations of the best-known members of the Dickens family, may be regarded aa something of a benefactor. His work stands out in its class in much the same way as Dickens stands out in the world of literature. Last night Mr. Williams charmed his audience, and the reception he received must have proved very flattering to tho artist. The supporting programme leaves little to be desired. Those who add to the success of tho entertainment are Mile Landry and M. Julls, Anna and Louis, Spencer Ward and Gertrude Long, Arthur Lucan and Kitty M'Shane, W. V- Robinson, George Castles and Signor Torzillo, and the Seven Kadje Kadir Arabs.
