' To test the validity of the United States liquor treaty with Great Britain f/r establishing the twelve-mile limit, suit has been entered by the Neptune Association, an organisation of American deck officers, to seek an injunction restraining the Cunard Company from bringing liquor within United States waters. It urgos tho seizure of all liquor brought to tin's port, regardless of the treaty, which is declared to be a violation of the constitution, and also of tho Prohibition law. The association also declares that the Treaty has caused heavy losses to American steamship operators, as passengers avoid the ury American -boats, and prefer to travel in British vessels, while many United States vessels have been changed to the British registry
