Sir. C. "R. Orr-Walker, S.M.. presided at the Court to-day, when two first offenders for drunkenness were ordered to_ forfeit the amounts of their bail, 10s in each ease. . Aubrey Wliittiiigtou, 35 years of age, who was in arrear on a, maintenance order for an illegitimate child, was remanded'to appear at Christchureh ou Tuesday. ' A yuung man named Eustace Thorpe Raphael, 23 years of age, was remanded until Friday on a charge of the Jhcft (if a pair of wireless 'phones valued at £2 10s, the property of Eric William Knight. Accused was represented by Sir. H. E. Scott. J On a charge of using disorderly behaviour while he was drunk, Arthur Lloyd was fined £2, in default three days' imprisonment.
