THE HUTT SHOW

LIST OP AWARDS.

There was a very large attendance of the public at the Hutt Valley Spring Flower Show, which was opened in the I Lower Hutt Town Hall yesterday afternoon by Mr. T. M. WiHord, M.P.,. and which was continued throughout to-day and will be concluded this evening. The judges were:—Narcissi, open class, ■ Mr. \V. G. Bayliss, of Fendalton, Christchurch; amateur class, Mr. R. N. Wall, Lower Hutt; general classes and stands, Mr. G. A. Chapman, Lower Hutt; and decorative work, Miss Cooper. An R.H.S. silver medal was awarded to Mr. F. R. Cooper for his magnificent display of cut flowers, and R.H.S. bronze medals to Mr. H. J. Poole for his stand of foliage and other pot plants, and to ifr. E. Anstis for-his show of polyanthus. ■'„■■' The prize blooms in the show were,a "Sidar," shown by. Messrs. T. Waugh and Sons, and a "Lord Roberts," shown by Mr. A. '■ H.
