HARBOUR BOARD CLUB.
The third monthly shoot under the Lord Roberta dropped-point system, for trophies, has resulted in some very close finishes. Mr. L. P. Wrigley secured first prize with 207, plus handicap 207.2. Mr. S. Waters was second, with 206, plus handicap 206.33, and Mr. M'Donald, third, with 206, scratch. CJthers weil up were Messrs. B. H. Eigarlsford 203, and'handicap 205.9, W. M'Bain 204 and handicap 205.6, and L. Cairns 202 and handicap 205.55. Last week saw the inauguration of a weekly teams match amongst club members for badges donated to the club by Mr. W. T. M'Naught, to whom the thanks of the club are due. , Some very interesting ' results should obtain from this, competition, as the winners hold them for the week', and are called on to .defend them the following week. Teams wore picked ]by .Messrs. C. M'Donald, S.^ Waters, and L. P. '.Vrigley. Mr. M'Donald's team- winning by 10 points. Results were as follow : , M'Donsld . 68 Emmeraon 61 M Quire 60 Smyth 67 , M'Cartpy 67 Collins v Woodcock 6S Williams 60 ' "IBain 69 EdWdids 67 Waters 64 .T. Glfford 61 C. Prince 68 Eigarlsford .... C 4 All rifle enthusiasts will be pleased to welcome back Messrs. R. 11. Nicholl and E\ Renton, who have juat returned from a trip to England. Both these shots have looked round some of the Society of Miniature Rifle Olubs' latest ranges . while at Home, and were on the look out for points in the shooting line. The A Team fired Wellington South during the week, the latter proving victorious by a margin of 21 points. Thus South win the championship, and I offer them my hearty congratulations.
