DOMINIONS' PRECEDENCE
THE POSITION OF HIGH COMMISSIONERS.

LONDON, 29th July. In the House of Commons, Mr. J. H. Thomas, Secretary for the Colonies announced that the High Commissioners of the Dominions and of India will take precedence immediately after Ministers 01 iintish and Dominions' Cabinets on ceremonial occasions, but when no British or Dominions' Cabinet Ministers are present, the High Commissioners will take precedence immediately after that accorded to Secretaries of State by the table of precedence.
