A HOTEL DESTROYED
FIRE IN A NAPIER SUBURB.

NAPIER, This Day.
The Westshore Hotel, in the suburbs of Napier, was burned to ashes at 3 o'clock this morning. No /water 6upply was available, and nothing was saved, while an adjourning cottage and a small hut were also totally destroyed. /The licensee was Mr.' 1<". Rhodes, and the owner Mr. E. Austin, of Auckland.
The insurances are : On the building, £3000, in the Phoenix Office; on the furniture and stock, £420," in the Standard Office.
The boarders escaped in their night attire, saving nothing.
