Breaking away, Wogan kicked the ball right through the Poneke defence, and, beating Wright for the ball, he scored Sehvyn's only try: Piince failed to convert. ' Front a penalty, S. Shearer kicked a fine goal, H. Tilyard scored another try, and Shearer again kicked a penalty goal. In the second spell, Hickey scored near the corner, and just before the end of tho game, H. Tilyard scored his third tiy. The final scores were Poneke 18, Selwyn 3. Mr. D. J. Guiney was referee.
