LONDON, 9th June. -Lhere were enormous attendances at tho Wembley Exhibition, and the total is estimated at a quarter of a million. The controllers hope that the improvement will be continued. It is no secret that the financial outlook has been causing crave concern, and probably explains the feelers thrown out during the last fortnight regarding a proposal that the Exhibition should be reopened nest year.
