CROSS BENEFIT CONCERT

Quite a number of people are saying that the prices are too cheap for such a magnificent programme as that arranged for the Cross benefit concert on Saturday evening. Among the manv outstanding features will be tho part songs of the C.T. Male Voice Choir, under Mr. H. Temple White. Mrs. J. F. Woodward, who sang with such vivacity and charm in "Der Freischutz," will sing the melodious.waltz song from Edward German's opera "Tom Jones," and Miss Myra Sawyer is to sing ."One Fine Day," from "Madam Butterfly,' and the laughing song from Auber's "Manon Lcsciint." Mr. Leon de Mauny will play a bracket of brilliant pieces, and Madame de Mauny the "Seguiilillas" of Albania. Mr. Albert Russell will sing a riotously, comic number, and with Mrs. Russell will sing "Pretty Poll." Other artists concerned will be Miss Eileen Noble, Miss Mary Cooley, Messrs. W. W. Marshall, Howard Foster, W. Ewart Crewes, Austin Blackie, Harold Whittle, and Donald Scott. The prices are only 2a and Is, with 6d extra for booking at The Bristol,
