Hutt District High School.—The" report.m connection with'the work of the Hutt District-High.School, presented before a well-attended meeting of house; holders, showed very satisfactory; progress fqr the year. In the secondary department the first'senior.national scholarship in the history of the school was obtained by Arthur Featonby.. The roll number stood at 610 vpupils in air departments. A resolution was passed'urging the erection:.of the Hutt Valley High' School as soon 'as possible. The; following committee was elected:—Messrs. J. Stonehonse (chairman), W. B. Hardy A; P.
